Terms of Service
Effective October 21, 2026
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you use https://www.myrtletreemin.com, submit a form, book an appointment, pay us, or receive text messages from us. By doing any of these, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
If you act for a church or organization, you confirm that you have authority to agree to these Terms for it.
Who We Are
Myrtle Tree Ministries, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, does business as Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies. "We" and "us" mean Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies. "You" means the person or organization using our website or services. Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies is a for-profit business.
Our Services
We provide faith-based advisory and consulting services to senior pastors, executive pastors, church administrators, boards, and church leadership teams.
Discovery Call. A free, 30-minute conversation on Zoom about your ministry and whether we are a good fit.
Ministry Advisory Hour. A paid, one-hour advisory session, booked and paid in full online.
Consulting projects. Scoped engagements under a separate written client agreement signed by both parties and billed by invoice. If these Terms and a signed client agreement conflict, the signed client agreement controls.
Speaking and guest appearances. Conferences, panels, workshops, retreats, podcasts, and webinars, requested through our Speaking Request form.
Advisory Only, No Guaranteed Results
Our work is advisory. It is not legal, clinical, counseling, therapy, financial, accounting, or tax advice, and we do not guarantee results.
You and your leadership remain responsible for your decisions and their results. For legal, clinical, financial, accounting, or tax questions, please consult a qualified licensed professional.
Our services are not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911.
Booking and Payment
Appointments are booked through our online calendar.
The Ministry Advisory Hour is paid in full when you book. The price is shown when you book.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Charges appear on your card statement as MYRTLE TREE STRATEGIES.
Consulting projects are billed by invoice under the client agreement.
Ministry Advisory Hour Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds: The Ministry Advisory Hour is paid in full when you book. If you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your session, we will move your session to a new time or refund you in full, whichever you choose. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session, and missed sessions, are not refunded. If we cancel, you may choose a full refund or a new time.
To reschedule or cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or contact us at [email protected].
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to post them.
Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. If you join late, the session still ends on time.
If a technical problem on our side prevents the session, we will offer a new time or a full refund, whichever you choose.
Payments Are Not Donations
Payments to us are for services. They are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
Confidentiality
Conversations with Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies are kept confidential. We use AI note-taking, and sometimes recording, on our calls so we can stay fully present and follow up accurately; notes and recordings are confidential, and you may ask us before or at the start of any call to turn them off. We disclose information without your consent only when the law requires or allows it, such as when we learn of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, an elderly person, or a person with a disability; when a court or legal process requires it; or when we believe it is needed to protect someone from a serious threat to their safety. The service providers that help us run our services, including AI tools, handle information as described in our Privacy Policy. Our advisory work is not legal, clinical, or financial advice.
Our conversations are not covered by legal privileges, such as the attorney-client privilege, so a court could require us to disclose information.
Confidentiality for consulting projects may also be covered in your client agreement.
Notes and Recordings
Notes are a standard part of how we work. On most calls, we use Zoom AI Companion to create a meeting summary and transcript, and sometimes Zoom recording. For some calls and in-person meetings, we use a Plaud recording device instead. Notes let us stay fully present in the conversation and give you accurate follow-up. Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are confidential, the same as the conversation itself.
If you would prefer no notes, tell us before the call by replying to your confirmation email or writing to [email protected], or tell us at the start of the call. We will turn them off and take limited notes by hand. Without notes, our follow-up may be less complete. We never record or take AI notes over anyone's objection.
We give notice on our forms, in your booking confirmation, through Zoom's on-screen notice, and out loud at the start of each call. Where the law allows, joining a call after this notice counts as agreement. Because some states require everyone's agreement, we also check with everyone out loud at the start of every call, and we rely on that check and Zoom's on-screen notice as your agreement. If someone joins late, we check with them when they join.
How we handle notes and recordings, including storage, retention, and the AI tools involved, is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to record our calls or meetings without the agreement of everyone on the call.
Recordings that a host makes of a speaking engagement or podcast are governed by the separate written appearance agreement, not by this section.
How We Use AI
We use AI tools in our work. We co-create our website content, emails, and documents with an AI assistant, and we use AI to help us prepare for and follow up on client work, including notes from calls. We direct this work and are responsible for what we publish and send. AI tools do not make decisions about you.
Information you give us stays confidential when we use AI tools. We give these tools only the information needed to serve you, and we do not use them for advertising.
Our Privacy Policy lists the AI tools we use and how they handle information.
Our website content is for general information. If something on our website seems inaccurate, please tell us.
Speaking Engagements
A Speaking Request is a request, not a booking. An appearance is confirmed only when we agree to it in writing.
Terms for each appearance, including the honorarium, schedule, format, and any recording, are agreed separately in writing.
When an appearance requires travel, the host covers travel expenses. This includes transportation, lodging, and meals for the travel period.
You may not record, stream, or distribute a presentation unless we agree in writing. Any recording you make is governed by that written agreement.
You may use our name, approved biography, and approved photo to promote a confirmed appearance.

Our Content, Frameworks, and Marks
Our website, materials, tools, and frameworks are protected by copyright and belong to us. This includes the written materials for the Framework for Ministry Fruitfulness and the "What Drawback Can You Live With?" decision-making work. © 2026 Myrtle Tree Ministries, LLC. All rights reserved.
Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies, Framework for Ministry Fruitfulness, and What Drawback Can You Live With? are our service marks, along with our logos. Nothing in these Terms or our materials gives you any right to use our names, marks, or logos, except to refer to us accurately.
When we give you materials, you may use them within your own church or organization. You may not distribute, publish, teach, license, or adapt them for others, or use them to train artificial intelligence, without our written permission.
You may:
Link to our website pages.
Quote brief excerpts, with credit to Myrtle Tree Ministry Strategies and a link to our website.
You may not:
Remove or change copyright or other notices on our materials.
Present our frameworks, tools, or materials as your own.
Use our materials or Method Materials to create a competing course, curriculum, workshop, product, or service.
Give materials, recordings, or portal content to people outside your church or organization.
To ask permission for another use, or to report misuse, email [email protected].
Confidential Method Materials
Some of our materials are not public, such as assessments, diagnostic tools, facilitation guides, worksheets, scoring guides, templates, and the detailed steps for applying our frameworks ("Method Materials"). We mark them confidential or provide them only to clients, participants, or collaborators.
Method Materials are our confidential information and trade secrets. If you receive them, you agree to:
Keep them confidential, and give access only to people in your church or organization who need them.
Use them only for your own church or organization.
Not use them, or anything derived from them, to provide services, training, courses, or products to anyone else.
Not rewrite, rebrand, reverse engineer, or present them as your own.
Not enter them into an AI tool that may use them for training.
Return or delete them if we ask.
These duties do not apply to information that is already public through no fault of yours, that you knew before we provided it, or that you develop on your own without using our Method Materials. They do not limit your general right to lead, serve, or work in ministry.
These duties continue for as long as the Method Materials remain confidential.
Because misuse could cause harm that money cannot fix, we may ask a court to stop it, in addition to any other remedy.
A signed client, participant, or collaborator agreement may add to these terms. Where it does, the signed agreement controls.
Ownership of deliverables created for a consulting project is set by your client agreement.
Your Information and Feedback
You keep ownership of the information you send us. You allow us to use it to provide and improve our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Testimonials
We quote testimonials only with permission. We attribute them by role or title, not by name. Testimonials reflect individual experiences, and your results may differ.
Digital Resources, Courses, and Client Portal
We may offer downloadable tools and guides, online courses, memberships, or a client portal called Myrtle Tree Portal. When we do:
Your access is personal to you or your organization and may not be given to others or transferred.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
Additional terms, such as pricing, access periods, and refunds for that offering, will be shown before you sign up or buy. Those terms work together with these Terms.
Outside Services and Links
We use outside services, such as Ivorey and HighLevel, Stripe, Zoom, Plaud, and Anthropic, to provide our website and services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services. Links to other sites are for convenience. We are not responsible for outside services or sites.
Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that our website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for all claims relating to our website or services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
Some laws do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, that arise from your misuse of our website or services, your violation of these Terms or the law, or information you submit. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own negligence or willful misconduct.
Resolving Disputes
If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days before either of us starts a legal proceeding.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any legal proceeding must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Other Terms
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms, we have not waived our right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the terms on our forms are the full agreement about our website and services, except that a signed client agreement or written speaking agreement controls where it applies.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor business.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date and do not change a booking you already paid for.
